Insights into St Petersburg

What are smart walks?

Smart walks are a series of thought-provoking walking tours of St Petersburg. The idea of smart walks is to show the city in the broad context of Russian history and to link the past with the present.

What are they about?

We have set up four series of tours: tours for history buffs, literary tours, tours about 20th century Russian architecture and Orthodoxy tours. Each tour is structured so that you can not only visit interesting sites, but also acquire a general understanding of the subject.

How do they differ from usual tours?

What stands out in our programme is that we tell you what travel guides never tell, because we go behind the scenes. Each walk is a key to the “riddle wrapped in a mystery inside the enigma”, as Winston Churchill once referred to Russia. Exploring St Petersburg with us, you will better understand Russia and yourself.
